明朝时期，于谦从小受到良好的教育，他很敬佩苏武、诸葛亮、文天祥等，他先后在明宣宗、英宗、代宗各朝做官，为官十分清廉，从不揽权纳贿和向权贵进贡，《入京》诗有体现：“绢帕麻菇与线香，本资民用反为殃。清风两袖朝天去，免得闾阎话短长。
