苏公廊庙姿，推择起为吏。论议动引经，举措必由义。
惟时方大旱，谓咎在冤滞。决狱天乃雨，凶年化丰岁。
流声满山西，宪府立罗致。慷慨平生怀，遂佐直指使。
受命按边鄙，正色行使事。边臣既威服，使亦免颠踬。
六曹收雄材，两府资远器。激昂天下事，往往见谋议。
十载拘掾曹，弥年困文字。虽云富匡赞，岂足尽材艺。
一命厕省僚，句稽得深弊。铨选班爵冗，出入钱谷细。
并缘出多门，穿穴肆奸利。有如水上萍，驱去还复至。
因风一披荡，暂得免蒙翳。再命主贼曹，持平独丕蔽。
恒求情中实，动究法外意。功罪必诛赏，义恶俱惕厉。
三命参宥密，令闻益昭晰。和林跨大漠，肇造此根柢。
东际瀚海头，西控流沙裔。北穷阴山外，南掎两都势。
连营列万里，仓庾千万计。镇以磐石宗，重以分省寄。
忆昔大德末，成庙方厌世。桓桓忠献王，功大更多智。
武德既践阼，宫阙始清閟。越邸矜微劳，宠极心乃异。
国有社稷臣，谗乃惑聪睿。遂辍股肱任，往重藩屏系。
有威如雷霆，有恩若元气。耕凿比中上，什伍相错置。
士忘远戍苦，民见太平治。道路无拾遗，商旅毕怀惠。
忠献一朝没，武皇亦遐弃。骎寻延祐中，权相擢天位。
磨牙吮人血，掉尾恣狂猘。戕贼骨肉亲，迫逐见危坠。
天人共震怒，降灾及兹地。大雪深丈馀，人马相枕毙。
重为朝廷忧，夙夜靡宁志。除吏超五等，闻者尽惊避。
苏公拜郎中，即日辞九陛。厚禄非所荣，高爵非所贵。
彼民亦天民，安得皆坐视。兼程到官所，发廪急周济。
死者何嗟及，存者再生遂。闾阎渐苏息，竭力补黥劓。
飞书九重天，请为兵民备。募粟实塞下，慎勿惮劳费。
天子赐问劳，名王致金币。至今赖长策，当时已多忌。
如何方赐环，及国竟长逝。都人走相哭，行子为歔欷。
崩腾朔风迅，惨淡浮云曳。苍松拔其根，黄鹄铩其翅。

揭傒斯（1274～1344）元代著名文学家、书法家、史学家。字曼硕，号贞文，龙兴富州（今江西丰城杜市镇大屋场）人。家贫力学，大德年间出游湘汉。延佑初年由布衣荐授翰林国史院编修官，迁应奉翰林文字，前后三入翰林，官奎章阁授经郎、迁翰林待制，拜集贤学士，翰林侍讲学士阶中奉大夫，封豫章郡公，修辽、金、宋三史，为总裁官。《辽史》成，得寒疾卒于史馆，谥文安，著有《文安集》，为文简洁严整，为诗清婉丽密。善楷书、行、草，朝廷典册，多出其手。与虞集、杨载、范梈同为“元诗四大家”之一，又与虞集、柳贯、黄溍并称“儒林四杰。”
