译文
谢灵运先生曾经由此泛舟鄱阳湖，并游览松门山。
我也刚刚从那里仰望山上的石镜，并顺流上达流水尽头。
此行是继承谢公的风雅传统和精神，不仅仅是来这里散心。
前辈的高见超迈，我辈何处寻真知？
现在正临大水汛时期，浩浩洋洋，无比壮美，而没有江岸边激流的喧闹。
漾水向东方流去，漳水向正南方奔逝。
两水与湖交汇处的夜晚空空朦朦，蜿蜒千里，一派混沌。
天空明月隐蔽在青青的桂花树丛，愁猿的哀啼笼罩着翠绿的枫林。
江中也许可以采到碧绿的水玉，可是炼金丹的秘诀何处可寻？
我要学仙去了，希望可以与仙人琴高谈心。

(1)《书·禹贡》：嶓冢导漾，东流为汉，又东为沧浪之水，过三湿至于大别，南入于江，东汇泽为彭蠡。孔安国《书传》泉始出山为漾水，东南流为沔水，至汉中东流为汉水。《通志略》：汉水名虽多而实一水，说者纷然，其原出兴元府西县嶓冢山为漾水，东流为沔水，又东至南郑为汉水。有褒水，从武功来入焉。又东左与文水会，又东过西城，旬水入焉。又东过郧乡县南，又屈而东南，过武当县。又东过顺阳县，有淯水，自虢州卢氏县北来入焉。又东过中庐，别有淮水，自房陵淮山东流入焉。又东过南漳荆山，而为沧浪之水，或云在襄阳即为沧浪之水。又东南过宜城，有鄢水入焉。又东过鄀，敖水入焉。又东南臼水入焉。又东过云、杜，而为夏水，有郧水入焉。又东至汉阳，触大别山，南入于江。班云行一千七百六十里。
(2)孔颖达《左传正义》：《释例》云：漳水出新城沶乡县南，至荆山东南，经襄阳、南郡当阳县入沮。《通志略》：漳水出临沮县东荆山，东南至当阳县，右入于沮。临沮，今襄阳南漳县。当阳，今隶荆门军。《一统志》： 漳江，源出临沮县南，至荆州当阳北，与沮水合流，入大江。
(3)谢朓诗：“空濛如薄雾。”三川，三江也。按三江，孔安国、班固、郑玄、韦昭、桑钦、郭璞诸说不一，惟郑云：左合汉为北江，右合彭蠡为南江，岷江居其中为中江。今考江水发源蜀地，最居上流，下至湖广，汉江之水自北来会之，又下至江西，则彭蠡之水自南来会之，三水合流而东，以入于海，所谓三江既入也。《禹贡》既以岷江为中江，汉水为北江，则彭蠡之水为南江可知矣。苏东坡谓岷山之江为中江，嶓冢之江为北江，豫章之江为南江，盖本郑说也。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
