译文
在江北送你乘船归去，再若相见该是在对岸的江南，江南江北几度秋风吹过，如梦的岁月会使我们都苍老了容颜。
人就像是山头的云彩，谁也难料是聚是散，你好似一片孤云要飘向何方，我仿佛是一只离了群的大雁。
注释
卜算子：词牌名，双调四十四字，前后段各四句、两仄韵。
王彦猷：王之道，字彦猷，号相山居士。
江北、江南：指长江北岸、南岸地区。
朱颜换：衰老之谓。时王之道已六十七、八岁，周氏亦当半百以上。
卜算子·席上送王彦猷创作背景
绍兴三十一年（1161），王之道由通判安丰军升任提举荆湖北路常平茶盐公事，此词是周紫芝作于王之道在安丰或离去赴楚道中，当时周紫芝正在江西兴国军任上，在送别友人王彦猷（王之道）的酒席上，词人写了这首词。

卜算子·席上送王彦猷鉴赏
上片直陈其事，直说别情。“江北上归舟，再见江南岸”将江北与江南对举，由别离联根到聚会。二句所说，并非实写，而将这次别离推而广之，即将这次别离看作一般的聚散离合，而不仅仅是尔汝之间的别离。意即：聚久必散，散了还聚，送往迎来乃人生之常事。二句所说，似甚通达，并未将这次别离看得太重，而“江北江南几度秋，梦里朱颜换”则流露出借别之情。谓：江北江南，几度春秋，人们对于不断的迎送似已司空见惯，但人的一生经不起几次迎送。“朱颜”在梦里更换谓岁月不饶人，只能在不断的迎送中老去。这里所谓“朱颜”更换，不是在镜中，而是在梦里，含有“人生如梦”之意。这是上片，既说别情，又抒发感慨。
下片想象别后情景，抒说友情。上下片在形式上不换头，但词意却有所变化。“人是岭头云，聚散天谁管”对上片所说聚散离合事发表议论。谓：人，就像是岭头云一般，忽聚忽散，乃自然现象。意即：不必为江北江南之别离感到难过。这是对于惜别情绪的自我解脱。但是，天不管云的聚散，人却管自己的聚散。因此，“君似孤云何处归，我似离群雁”紧接着上一个比喻，再用两个比喻体现别情。上一个比喻谓“人是岭头云”，所说聚散，仍为一般现象。“君”与“我”，即由一般转向个别。君似孤云，我似离群雁。这里所说的“君”与“我”是特定意义上的“人”，其聚散离合也就不同一般。二句所写，形象地表现了离别之后“君”与“我”的孤单情景，这是很值得怜借的，因而进一步加深了此时此刻在“席上”所表现的惜别之情。这是下片，想自我解脱，又无法解脱。
上下两片格式相同，但述事、蓄情曲折变化，将抒情主人公的内心世界体现得很充分，所抒友情十分真切动人。

周紫芝（1082-1155），南宋文学家。字少隐，号竹坡居士，宣城（今安徽宣州市）人。绍兴进士。高宗绍兴十五年，为礼、兵部架阁文字。高宗绍兴十七年（1147）为右迪功郎敕令所删定官。历任枢密院编修官、右司员外郎。绍兴二十一年（1151）出知兴国军（治今湖北阳新），后退隐庐山。交游的人物主要有李之仪、吕好问吕本中父子、葛立方以及秦桧等，曾向秦桧父子献谀诗。约卒于绍兴末年。著有《太仓稊米集》、《竹坡诗话》、《竹坡词》。有子周畴。
