汪若楫，宋代休宁县榆村藏溪人，官宣城令。咸淳间，为紫阳书院山长。曾于北宋崇宁年间（公元1102～1106年）建秀山书院，地处藏溪南山之阳。《休宁县志》载：崇宁年间(1102-1106)，休宁县汪若楫于藏溪建秀山书院，这是徽州创立最早的书院，汪氏有“秀山十景诗”。《新安文献志》卷首《先贤事迹上》，《弘治徽州府志》卷七《人物》以及《康熙休宁县志》卷六《人物》和《宋诗纪事》卷七六《汪若楫》均有记载。
