《竹枝词》鉴赏
原文
十二峰头秋草荒，冷烟寒月过瞿塘。
青枫江上孤舟客，不听猿啼亦断肠。
赏析
竹枝词本为民歌，大抵唐人所写多为儿女柔情，或离人旅思；后世所作，除上述主题外，多歌咏风俗人情。这首竹枝词为作者舟过瞿塘峡的旅思之作。长江三峡凄清冷峻自古闻名，“巴东三峡巫峡长，猿鸣三声泪沾裳”（郦道元《水经注》）。作者此时孤舟过峡，眼见秋草荒芜，寒月当空，冷烟萦绕，峡深流急，令人胆寒心悸。作者在此“实话实说”，倒跳出了前人窠臼。这样写来更见出瞿塘峡之险，“断肠”并非是凄厉的猿声，而是这阴森恐怖的江峡，江峡之险才是令人“断肠”的真正原因。

何景明（1483～1521）字仲默，号白坡，又号大复山人，信阳浉河区人。明弘治十五年(1502)进士，授中书舍人。正德初，宦官刘瑾擅权，何景明谢病归。刘瑾诛，官复原职。官至陕西提学副使。为“前七子”之一，与李梦阳并称文坛领袖。其诗取法汉唐，一些诗作颇有现实内容。有《大复集》。
