《枭逢鸠 / 枭将东徙》鉴赏
原文
鸠曰：“子将安之？”
枭曰：“我将东徙。”
鸠曰：“何故？”
枭曰：“乡人皆恶我鸣。以故东徙。”
鸠曰：“子能更鸣，可矣；不能更鸣，东徙，犹恶子之声。”
赏析
本则寓言的寓意可以从两个角度来理解。一种是站在斑鸠的立场上看问题：在一个环境中若得不到认可，就应该反思自己的问题或缺点，而不是逃避，只有正视自己的缺点并改正才能得到大家的欢迎与肯定。另一种是我们站在枭的立场上看问题，枭不是逃避，而是遵循自然去找一个合适自己的新家。

刘向（约前77—前6） 原名更生，字子政，祖籍沛郡（今属江苏徐州）人。西汉经学家、目录学家、文学家。刘向的散文主要是秦疏和校雠古书的“叙录”，较有名的有《谏营昌陵疏》和《战国策叙录》，叙事简约，理论畅达、舒缓平易是其主要特色。
