《杏帘在望》鉴赏
原文
杏帘招客饮，在望有山庄。
菱荇鹅儿水，桑榆燕子梁。
一畦春韭绿，十里稻花香。
盛世无饥馁，何须耕织忙。
赏析
颔联“菱荇鹅儿水，桑榆燕子梁”句画出一幅生动的画面:鹅儿在长满菱荇的池中嬉戏游水，燕子从桑榆林中衔泥飞出，筑巢于屋梁之间。此联仅用名词构成诗句，而未用动词或形容词，这是中国古典诗歌的一种特殊句法。
第二联“菱荇鹅儿水，桑榆燕子梁”这做得好不好？你说这两句里面，哪个是主语？哪个是谓语？没有的。没有动词、没有用形容词，全是名词放在一起，“菱荇鹅儿水”，这个就是诗歌的特殊句法。你可以想像，鹅儿在那里戏水，水上面有菱荇，这些不要讲出来。就用“菱荇鹅儿水”，“桑榆燕子梁”也是这样，燕子在树里穿来穿去，把桑树、榆树的枝条来做自己的窝，回来做自己的燕窝，这些你自己去想像吧。它是这样的一种句法，这是特别地工整的句法。
这句诗可以和“细雨鱼儿出，微风燕子斜。”媲美，和“鸡声茅店月，人迹板桥霜。”并论，是林黛玉的许多佳句之一。
