君从昆明来，疑带劫灰至。五三五四日，飞贼焚渝市。
初闻角声厉，俄惊枪炮利。自空掷弹丸，万户遂如沸。
望衡裁数武，燃烧遍市肆。我楼被雨弹，屋角洞无翳。
邻右楼亦倾，乃类鸟垂翅。扶伤救死中，腥风动触鼻。
老弱困提挈，妇孺半惨毙。人焦行李塞，满地见委弃。
一路哭声哀，火光烛天地。月与火争光，幻出此何世。
西夷远交者，入瓮亦请试。高坡卐字旗，倏忽供烽燧。
乌合各为谋，彼哉日德意。吾生自无涯，世变今益恣。
贼强况阻兵，宜数挟其器。岂类周大官，云胡尔不备。
痛定念疮痍，要更持众志。多君远游人，能说滇中帅。

林庚白（1897～1941），原名学衡，字凌南，又字众难，自号摩登和尚，民国时期诗人、政治人物。1897年（另有1894年、1896年之说）生于福建省闽侯县螺洲镇（今福州市仓山区螺洲镇州尾村）。幼孤早慧，由其姐抚养长成。8岁便负笈北京，一生热心政治，曾加入京津同盟会，慨然有澄清天下之志。林庚白是南社著名诗人，有“诗怪”之称。创作诗文很多，先后编校《庚白诗存》、《庚白诗词集》，还著有《孑楼随笔》、《孑楼诗词话》等等，为南社健将。
