零陵水车风作轮，缘江夜响盘空云。
轮盘团团径三丈，水声却在风轮上。
大江日夜东北流，高岸低坼开深沟。
轮盘引水入沟去，分送高田种禾黍。
盘盘自转不用人，年年祇用修车轮。
往年比屋搜军伍，全家载下西凉府。
十家无有三家存，水车卧地多作薪。
荒田无人复愁旱，极目黄茅接长坂。
年来儿长成丁夫，旋开荒田纳官租。
官租不阙足家食，家家复藉水田力。
一车之力食十家，十家不惮勤修车。
但愿人常在家车在轴，不忧禾黍秋不熟。
