忆昔咸丰之十载，粤西大盗来东吴。异军苍头起吾里，白布帕首争前驱。
斩馘剧贼颇亦夥，日久粮乏难枝梧。贼更积忿逞一决，户口十万遭焚屠。
贱子亡命草间活，但馀皮骨无肌肤。贼退来归旧井里，积尸狼藉横交衢。
狗食人肉喜其腴，夜夜属餍肥其躯。东邻老妪饿莫起，攫之而走冲门趋。
眼中所睹竟若此，咄哉天道何其诬。三十年来事犹昨，至今梦寐常惊呼。
