先生平生无俗嗜，博取珍奇自娱戏。案间双尺本蛟龙，怪底雄雌俱出地。
含精古铁色沈沈，质白玉兮价黄金。有时风雨暗堂室，直恐雷电相搜寻。
净业知君专笔砚，白首残编天眼见。一朝出此瑞文房，神物化成非锻鍊。
阅遍千人谁得将，主人比德端且方。永供黄卷镇边幅，明窗净几生辉光。
先生歌成惊杰句，助发铿锵得君故。何人似与郭代公，宝剑豪篇不须赋。

王之望（1102-1170），南宋著名诗人、书法名家。字瞻叔。南宋襄阳谷城人（今湖北省谷城县），后寓居台州（今浙江省临海县）。其父王纲，任徽州（今安徽省歙县）通判（与知府、知州共治政事），因反对金人立卖国求荣的张邦昌为君，为时人所敬重。绍兴八年（1138年）中进士，乾道六年（1170年）卒于临海。所著有《汉滨集》、《奏议》、《经解》等行于世。南宋高宗、孝宗时期著名诗人。
