龙尾山盘八十里，龙尾有潭下无底。秋月亭亭潭气黑，其中有石色如墨。
山川秀气散不为，风云顽不为砂砾。融结至宝有物主，水上经营无处所，经年始获不敢贾。
我昔游江南，有客遗我誇龙子。吾知龙能变化，是或不可制。
追琢为巨砚，大笔挥离骚。中圆体天形，外方作地象。
精光熠熠角生浪，熟视乃有绀罗文。莹润无与比，玩爱何可论。
我今樗散无所事，特赠华阳鸿笔丽藻人。吾闻蜀都多学士，寘诸文府为战具。
君如穷经遂绝笔，请典大轴传后嗣。

沈辽(1032—1085)，字睿达，宋钱塘(今余杭)人。沈遘的弟弟，《梦溪笔谈》作者沈括的同族兄弟。自幼嗜读《左传》、《汉书》，曾巩、苏轼、黄庭坚常与之唱和，王安石、曾布皆习其笔法。本无意于功名，王安石曾有“风流谢安石，潇洒陶渊明”之称。后由三司使吴充举荐，负责监内藏库。
