古人习轻趫，因之作绳戏。意与蹋鞠同，本用事武备。
何时入宫禁，乃令娱姬侍。宫中岂教战？美人竟身试。
名之曰千秋，祝词意何媚？讹转为鞦韆，颠倒因文字。
春风动帘帷，兰闺寂无事。嬉春藉苏困，不惜委珠翠。
遂疑作戏初，专为妇人置。何期岭外州，戏乃有古义。
闾左侠少年，习武广场地。双绳下系板，朱竿矗若植。
各斗好身手，高自鸣得意。仙乎疑肉飞，人也俨著翅。
斯技固甚微，斗力非斗智。当其分明角，势亦殊钝利。
形劳逸其神，乃不虞陨坠。技成惜无用，徒党自标异。
方今重防边，朝右资阃寄。何当下军书，壮士毕罗致。
上之为飞将，下亦备突骑。绳度而梯缘，猛迅扫丑类。
不龟且可封，拍张亦高位。此乃真千秋，名实两兼至。
毋终如处女，巾帼羞遗懿。萧娘吕姥徒，虽贵愧将帅。
勖哉闾左人，同奋千秋志。

丘逢甲(1864年～1912年）近代诗人。字仙根，又字吉甫，号蛰庵、仲阏、华严子，别署海东遗民、南武山人、仓海君。辛亥革命后以仓海为名。祖籍嘉应镇平（今广东蕉岭）。同治三年（1864年）生于台湾彰化，光绪十四年（1887年）中举人，光绪十五年登进士（1889年），授任工部主事。但丘逢甲无意在京做官返回台湾，到台湾台中衡文书院担任主讲，后又于台湾的台南和嘉义教育新学。
