唐代：岑参
洞房昨夜春风起，故人尚隔湘江水。
译文：昨夜春风吹进了深邃的寝室，让人惊觉已经是春天了，于是想起远在湘江之滨的伊人。
注释：洞房：深邃之房。而不似习见的“洞房花烛夜”中与新婚有关。司马相如《上林赋》：“岩宎洞房”。集解郭璞曰：“岩穴底为室潜通台上者。”洞房，一作“洞庭”。故人尚隔湘江水：此句“故人尚隔”一作“遥忆美人”。《文苑英华》及《全唐诗》均作“故人尚隔”，据此则当指朋友，高文、王刘纯先生《高适岑参选集》注曰：“故人，老朋友。”但《河岳英灵集》等多种古本作“遥忆美人”。
枕上片时春梦中，行尽江南数千里。
译文：不知不觉地沉沉入梦，在梦中只用了片刻工夫，就已经走完数千里的路程到达江南了。
注释：江南：即作者所思念之人所在的湘江之滨。

岑参（约715-770年），唐代边塞诗人，南阳人，太宗时功臣岑文本重孙，后徙居江陵。[1-2] 岑参早岁孤贫，从兄就读，遍览史籍。唐玄宗天宝三载（744年）进士，初为率府兵曹参军。后两次从军边塞，先在安西节度使高仙芝幕府掌书记；天宝末年，封常清为安西北庭节度使时，为其幕府判官。代宗时，曾官嘉州刺史（今四川乐山），世称“岑嘉州”。大历五年（770年）卒于成都。
