上巳日作。城南有坡，土色如丹，其下有堤，壅郑淇水入城。
注释：上巳：农历每月上旬的巳日。三月上巳为古时节日，习用三月初三日。壅：堵塞。郑淇：水名，由郑河、淇河于密州城南汇集而成，东北流入潍河。
东武城南，新堤固、涟漪初溢。隐隐遍、长林高阜，卧红堆碧。枝上残花吹尽也，与君更向江头觅。问向前、犹有几多春，三之一。
译文：东武城南刚刚筑就新堤，郏淇河水开始流溢。微雨过后，浓密的树林，苍翠的山岗，红花绿叶，满地堆积。枝头残花早已随风飘尽，我与朋友同到江边把春天寻觅。试问未来还有多少春光？算来不过三分之一。
注释：阜：土丘。卧红：指花瓣被雨打落在地。江头：指郏淇水边。向前：往前，未来。几多：多少。春：指春光。
官里事，何时毕。风雨外，无多日。相将泛曲水，满城争出。君不见兰亭修禊事，当时坐上皆豪逸。到如今、修竹满山阴，空陈迹。
译文：官衙里的公事纷杂堆积，风雨过后更无几多明媚春日。今日相约，泛杯曲水，全城百姓也争相聚集。您不曾闻知东晋兰亭修禊的故事？当日满座都是豪俊高洁之士。到如今只有长竹满山岗。往日陈迹，无从寻觅。
注释：兰亭修禊：东晋永和九年（353年）三月三日，王羲之与当时名士41人集合于会稽山阴（今浙江绍兴）兰亭，修祓禊之礼。众人作诗，王氏作《兰亭集序》。修禊，三月三日于水边采兰嬉游，以驱除不祥。豪逸：指豪放不羁，潇洒不俗的人。

苏轼（1037－1101），北宋文学家、书画家、美食家。字子瞻，号东坡居士。汉族，四川人，葬于颍昌（今河南省平顶山市郏县）。一生仕途坎坷，学识渊博，天资极高，诗文书画皆精。其文汪洋恣肆，明白畅达，与欧阳修并称欧苏，为“唐宋八大家”之一；诗清新豪健，善用夸张、比喻，艺术表现独具风格，与黄庭坚并称苏黄；词开豪放一派，对后世有巨大影响，与辛弃疾并称苏辛；书法擅长行书、楷书，能自创新意，用笔丰腴跌宕，有天真烂漫之趣，与黄庭坚、米芾、蔡襄并称宋四家；画学文同，论画主张神似，提倡“士人画”。著有《苏东坡全集》和《东坡乐府》等。
