闲情兼嘿语，携杖赴岩泉。
译文：最近“我”心情闲散，寂寞不语，于是就携带着手杖去观赏山水。
注释：嘿语：沉默。一作“嘿嘿”。携杖：拄杖。
草绿萦新带，榆青缀古钱。
译文：芳草萋萋，碧绿如带，榆荚成串而缀，远远看去，像串串古钱。
注释：萦新带：形容绿草繁生，漫延郊野，一片春色。榆：榆树。落叶乔木，叶卵形，花有短梗，翅果倒卵形，称榆荚、榆钱。缀：连结。古钱：古代货币，此处借指榆荚，因榆荚形似小铜钱。
鱼床侵岸水，鸟路入山烟。
译文：捕鱼的围栏插入临岸的江水中，大鸟展翅高飞，直入云烟。
注释：鱼床：编竹木如床席大，上投饵料，沉入水中，供鱼栖息。鸟路：鸟道，高山小径。山烟：山中云雾。
还题平子赋，花树满春田。
译文：“我”要像张衡那样写《归田赋》，这时田野里满树繁花，春色正浓。
注释：平子：后汉张衡字平子，南阳西鄂人，曾为河间相，仕途不得志，因作《归田赋》。

王勃（649或650～676或675年），唐代诗人。汉族，字子安。绛州龙门(今山西河津)人。王勃与杨炯、卢照邻、骆宾王齐名，世称“初唐四杰”，其中王勃是“初唐四杰”之首。唐高宗上元三年（676年）八月，自交趾探望父亲返回时，不幸渡海溺水，惊悸而死。王勃在诗歌体裁上擅长五律和五绝，代表作品有《送杜少府之任蜀州》等；主要文学成就是骈文，无论是数量还是质量，堪称一时之最，代表作品有《滕王阁序》等。
