明代：常慧
半肩风雨半肩柴，竹杖芒鞋破碧崖。
注释：芒鞋：草鞋。破：此处意为踏遍，多少次踏过。亦可理解为踏破山崖上碧绿的苔藓。
刚出岭头三五步，浑身都被乱云埋。
经行仿佛近诸天，月上山衔半缺圆。
注释：经行：散步。月上句：谓月亮升起来，却被山峰遮挡了一半，看看月是缺的，其实它是圆的。
听得上方相对话，星辰莫阂五峰巅。
注释：听得句：谓人在山头讲话，犹如在天上对语。极言山高。上方亦为天上。阂：隔阻。五峰：云居山诸峰中，最高者称五脑峰，亦名五老峰。

常慧（1557－1643），明末江西建昌云居山真如寺僧，曹洞宗三十二世高僧。诸缘洪断禅师法嗣。字味白，号龟山，俗姓胡，南昌（今属江西）人。世称常慧味白禅师。年十五出家，旋受戒。奉师命广参博采，道行日进。公元1598年（万历二十六年），上云居山谒洪断禅师，留侍左右，得法为嗣。于重建真如禅寺立有大功。公元1612年（万历四十年）洪断禅师退归燕京，乃奉命率徒守祗树堂。未久真如常住敦请出任住持。在任二十余年，维护道场，颇历艰辛。公元1637年（崇祯十年），仍退守祇树堂，课徒训孙，克己修行。学识渊博，儒释兼通，工诗善文，长于言辩，德才均堪称同代僧俗师表。
