短长亭，古今情。楼外凉蟾一晕生，雨馀秋更清。
译文：短亭长亭，古今离情。高楼外清冷的月亮被罩上了一圈光晕，雨后的秋天格外凄清。
注释：山驿（shānyì）：山路上的驿站，指作词之地。长相思：原为唐教坊曲，后用作词调名。调名取自南朝乐府“上言长相思，下言久离别”句。又名《相思令》、《双红豆》、《吴山青》、《山渐青》、《忆多娇》、《长思仙》、《青山相送迎》等。短长亭：古代驿道五里设一短亭，十里设一长亭。此代指行旅、行程。古今情：古今相同的离情。凉蟾：秋月。晕：月晕，月亮四周的光环。馀：剩下、遗留。
暮云平，暮山横。几叶秋声和雁声，行人不要听。
译文：浮云淡淡，远山茫茫。秋叶落地声伴着孤雁哀鸣，远游的行人不忍听。
注释：横：地理上指东西向，此指远山迷茫。和：应和。

万俟咏是北宋末南宋初词人。字雅言，自号词隐、大梁词隐。籍贯与生卒年均不详。哲宗元佑时已以诗赋见称于时。据王灼《碧鸡漫志》卷2记载：“元佑时诗赋老手”。但屡试不第，于是绝意仕进，纵情歌酒。自号“大梁词隐”。徽宗政和初年，召试补官，授大晟府制撰。绍兴五年(1135)补任下州文学。善工音律，能自度新声。词学柳永，存词27首。
