习庵筑室，偏曰观聚。
堂前何有，万象可睹。
山如郛郭，烟云吞吐。
草木沃若，春光媚妩。
修篁漫山，不知隆暑。
何况秋宛，呼日入户。
朔风吹雪，松声如怒，
上天下地，四言曰宇。
物生其间，何可胜数。
我于是观，乐哉斯土。
随意作室，不华不窳。
买山旋添，稍葺园圃。
得趣幽闲，不入城府，
良朋偶来，倾倒肺腑。
不及时事，惟谈邹鲁。
朋去何为，周易一部。
消息盈虚，穷今亘古。
观乃自观，寂无一语。

庆元府鄞县人，字广微。袁燮子。少承家学，又受业于杨简。宁宗嘉定七年进士。为秘书省正字，奏称内外局势可惧，请严守帅之选，兴屯田之利。迁校书郎，又言边事之病在内不在外。历任监司及州府官，所至兴利除弊。入为中书舍人，屡奏边事当以上流为急，议和恐误事。累官至权兵部尚书、兼吏部尚书。卒谥正肃。有《蒙斋集》等。
